I believe there was an Obediah Snow in IL about 1815 My GGGrandfather John SNOW b. abt 1784 came to Illinois from Lincoln County, Kentucky about the same time as Obediah Lyon SNOW I have never been able to connect them but I am sure they are related somehow. John's Father was Frostin SNOW of Virginia and Surry County, NC. He was one of three Frost & SNOWS that appear in the 1790 & 1800 Surry, NC census. Hope this helps, Timer
