What is the source of your information? It matches and conflicts with unconfirmed information that I have. The information that I have shows Edmond/Edward SNOW married to Hannah RIGGS on 9 June 1827, in Boone Co. Missouri. He was 24 (b. 5 Feb 1803), she was only 15 (b. 8 Nov 1811). His place of birth varies based on which census you look at. In 1850 he said he was born in SC. In 1860, he said TN. BTW, Hannah had a brother named Samuel RIGGS. Their children were John Calvin, Louisa Emaline, James R, William A, George S, Henry J, Daniel, Nancy E, Benjamin T, Richard B, and Mary H. That's 11 children. I only have detailed information on John Calvin SNOW. He is my ggg-grandfather. Do you think these may be the same persons/family? Much of my information came second hand from data in the Scotland Co. library; 1830, 1840, 1850 and 1850 Scotland Co. census records; Scotland Co. marriage records and his will. Again these are all second hand. I have seen very little of this data directly myself.
