Kathy, Thanks for the info. This is what I have on William Snow: History of Cumberland County, by J.W. Wells, pg 431, "Said the Snow's came from North Carolina. "Archelaus seems to have been the progenitor. His son, William came early in 1800 to Indian Creek. Nash went to Casey Co, and settled on Carpenters Creek, about 1820, John went to Barren Co,, then Cumberland, one branch went to Livingston Co, and one stayed in Rowan Co, NC"; I wonder if you had anything more on my William Snow?
