Beverly, You have my g-g-grandfather, John Snow, mixed in with your family, as a son of your William. He is NOT a son of William. John Snow, born 9 November 1804, Madison County, KY. He married 6 July 1826, Fayette Co., KY to Mary Ann Walker, daughter of Henry Walker. They moved to Clay Co., MO in 1832. He died 22 Feb. 1866 in Cameron, Clinton Co., MO. John Snow was the son of George Snow and Elizabeth Barnes. George Snow died in Estill Co. KY in 1814, and Elizabeth, his wife, died in Fayette Co., KY in 1818. They left four children as orphans. The court records of Fayette and Madison Counties prove the names of the children and parents, when Elizabeth's brother, Moses Barnes is appointed guardian. George Snow's parents were Henry Snow and Elizabeth Gilbert, of Bedford County, VA. I have documents to prove the lineage.
