I am also working on a Snow family in PA. I have a James Snow bn. MA 1770/90 married Eleanor Tate in Westmoreland Co. PA ca1815. they lived in Unity TWP, in Westmoreland Co. until about 1830. they were possibly in Ceylon, Sandusky and Ft. Defiance, Ohio until they settled in Jay Co. IN in 1837. James Snow was supposedly born in Roxbury, MA, son of Enos, grandson of Calvin Family stories were that Several Snow families came to western PA. after the Rev. War and settled in the area. James and Eleanor's children were. William E., James B., Barton B., John T., Jane,( 3 sons, Calvin, Wilson, ?, died as small children,) Joseph and Seth. John T and his mother Eleanor died before 1850. Seth, Jane, and their father James died in the early 1850's William E md. Susan Wier in Blackford Co IN 1840, moved to Preble Co OH in 1842, moved to Randolph Co IL in ca 1855. died ca 1883 in IL, He was a farmer. James B. and Barton B. became Doctors and lived in the Adams Co. IN area, James B. graduated from Medical School at Jefferson Medical College at Philadelphia, PA and Barton B. went to Louisville Medical College, KY. They married and raised their families in Jay and Adams Co IN. Joseph Snow married and raised his family in Jay and Adams Co.IN, I think he was a farmer too.
