My understanding is that John Snow & wife Sarah____ lived in Albemarle Co. & Orange Co., VA., and that this John died 1769. Their sons included Richard, Frost And Snow Sr., Ice (d. 1779 Albemarle) and John, who was listed as "idiot." Was this John later in Surry Co., N.C.? Frost And Snow married Elizabeth Johnson (daughter of William and Eleanor Davis Johnson) and later moved to Surry Co., N.C., and children included John Snow, Audra, Frances (m. John Cave Sr?). There was a John Davis Snow mentioned in the Albermarle, VA records. Might he have been the John Snow who was a son of Frost And Snow (whose mother-in-law was Eleanor Davis)? And is it also possible he was the same John Snow who married Elizabeth Lower(y) in Orange Co., Virginia? John Snow of N.C. and Roane County, Tennessee (Rhea Co./Meigs Co.), wife unknown, had children: Richard, Audra, William Lowery Snow, Nancy (m. Michael Selvidge) and others. The names Richard and Audra certainly seem to indicate this John Snow was the son of Frost And Snow. And the name "Lowery" also makes me think this John could be the one who married in Orange County to Elizabeth Lower(y). This is all a lot of supposition, but what does anyone else think about John Davis Snow being the son of Frost?
