    1. [SNOW-L] Lydia Hubbard Palmer ?
    2. Does anyone on the Hubbard list have anything which might connect to this? My thinking is that since Rebeckah Snow & Thomas Force Palmer named their 2nd daughter Lydia Hubbard Palmer, that this could be the maiden name of Rebeckah's mother (Hubbard it is not a Palmer name). Lydia's husband (the father of Rebeckah Snow) might have been Joseph Snow or Samuel Snow or . . . .? We know that Rebeckah had a brother named Samuel Snow, as both families were in Warsaw, Genesee Co. NY census 1820. Also Rebeckah named her first son Joseph, so possibly Joseph was her father's name. Do any of these names mean anything to anyone on the Hubbard list? FIRST GENERATION Thomas Force Palmer (1787-1865) NJ>NY>OH>IL and his wife Rebeckah Snow (1790-1854) RI>NY>OH>IL, marr May 20, 1815 at Broadalbin, Montgomery Co. NY. This is SW of Saratoga. They then located to western NY: Warsaw, Genesee Co. (today Wyoming Co., which was formed in 1841) where on Aug. 12, 1817 their second child was born, daughter . . . SECOND GENERATION LYDIA HUBBARD PALMER (we know nothing of Rebeckah Snow's parents, and so think that her mother or grandmother might have been a "Lydia Hubbard" . . .? Anyway . . . . I shall also send a copy of this to the Iowa-Nebraska List. I look forward to hearing from you. Peter Burrows, Annapolis, MD
