Hey everyone, If this is a repeat message to the list and someone has already posted this, please accept my apologies. The ancestry.com subscription site is offering a one month free trial and if anyone is not familiar with this site - it is the best one I have subscribed to for genealogy research. The web address is: http://www.ancestry.com When you get to the site around the top it says something like "free 30 day trial" all you have to do is click on this and register. I have found that instead of choosing particular databases, just type in the surname (of course if it is SMITH or JONES - you'll get a zillion of them), then you can go back and type in first names or select a state. When I go into the site - I check all the database records shown (especially when an ancestor landed in VA, or NJ then migrated to different states). The site has good information in the Colonial Records database as well as the Hinshaw Quaker records. Just thought I would pass this along as I have no idea how long this offer will be open. Thank you. Ruth in NC e-mail: RLugowski@aol.com
