In a recent query to the Snow List Jmkendall @Juno.com <Joseph M. Kendall> indicated he was looking for a Uriah Snow. The following is taken from a manuscript titled "THE RICHARD SNOW FAMILY" compiled by George Burwell Snow, D.D.S. and placed in several libraries by his wife Mr. George B. Snow in 1923 <my copy> While there is no documentation for this data in using the data I have found it to be quite reliable as a pathfinder to vital records, which indeed in most cases can be documented with some work on the part of the user. page 24. 4th Gen. Feb. 15, 1700; d. May 1, 1776, in Woburn. CHILDREN, b. in Woburn. 1. Elizabeth Snow, b. Mar. 27, 1722; m. John Walker, probably after 1755, 1 son, Samuel Waker. (M.O.Snow.) 2. Hannah Snow, b. 1724 (Jan. 7. 1724, H.C.S); d. Aug. 15 1796; m. Joseph Johnson, July 26, 1759; he d. Oct. 3, 1793. 3. Reuben Snow, b. Jan. 21, 1726, Not heard from after 1766 (M.O. Snow). 4. Abigail Snow, b. Mar. 5, 1728, d. in Woburn, Apr. 29, 1813. unm. 5. Uriah Snow, b. Oct. 30, 1730; lived at Spot Pond, Medford. Marshall O. Snow, says Uriah lived in Medford, at Spot Pond, had a wife named Lucy, Children named Uriah, Lucy, Barnabas. He disappeared with his family previous to 1813 or 15, as he could not be found to take his share of his sister Abigail's estate. 6. James Snow, b. Mar. 7, 1732. Revolutionary soldier. 7. Jesse Snow b. Oct. 20, 1734; d. Sept. 1747. 8. Lucy Snow, b. July 18, 1735. Zerubbabel Snow, Jr., WILL, dated Sept. 25, 1755; "Called into his Majesty's service"; names wife Eliza, sons James, Jesse, Reuben, and Uriah, and daus. Hannah, Abigail, Eliza and Lucy. Probated Apr. 4, 1775. Mentions lands in Woburn, and Willington, and in Rumford, N.H. Inventory Dated Apr. 11, 1776.
