My father told me a similar story that we have indian blook in our lines but I have not been able to find it. My searching leads my Snows back to England. My Snows come from Mansfield, CT and Boston, MA. The CT family is traced to the early 1800's and the children migrated to MA and RI, with some remaining in CT. The CT Snows are: Joseph Snow (b about 1807 in Mansfield, CT) who m Nancy Storrs (b Dec. 5, 1808 in NY). They had the following children, all born in Mansfield, Tolland, CT. Emiline M b April 24, 1833 (m. Frank Barrett/Burnett Sep. 17, 1854 in Mansfield,CT) Fidelia A b Nov. 11, 1834 (. Isaac Farwell, Jr. Sep.14, 1858 in Mansfield,CT) Joseph D b Aug 1, 1837 (m.Mary Maria Robbins Jul 8, 1858 in Mansfield) Dwight J b Aug 1, 1838 (d. June 4, 1866) Fielder S b Apr 7, 1840 (d. Dec. 12, 1859) Lucy J b Feb 10, 1845 (d. Aug. 28, 1896) Jonathan L b Nov. 14, 1847 (m. A. Ella Daniels Apr 22, 1875) Does anyone have information on these lines? Thanks, HJ
