First off, I am virtually dead certain that my dates are corect. Everything that I have ever seen for Rebeckah shows her birth date at Oct 1, 1790, Providence RI. Her marriage at May 30, 1815, Broadalbin, NY, her death as Oct 26, 1854. The "things" are . . . A family history written about 1900-1925 by her grandson, who was a prolific writer and family historian; could have been wrong of course. A couple of different County histories, pulb. 1870's, one being Medina Co. OH where they lived in the 1830, another being LaSalle Co. IL where she died. Her Illinois gravestone says Rebeckah S. Palmer and giuves dates. She is buried next to her husband who lived until 1865, and he donated land from his farm for the cemetery. I suspect the dates are right. Also they agree with the census that I have seen and given the birth years of her children, which are firm, 1790 makes sense. So I am virtually absolutely certain the dates are proper . . . I have not however ever found a birth record, a marriage license, or a death certificate, but her life spanned a time which preceeded most of the types of documents. Still I think that the family you sight must be very close, if not the one. I would like to persue these things further with you. See what else you have. I will be away until Apr 24, so after that is good. The Jos. Snow b. 1715 & Rebecca Grant could be grandparents. Followed by Samuel Snow b. 1758 as her father. Who did Samuel marry? What are names of his wife's family? What were names of Samuel's children and their birth dates? Certainy S. b. 1758 would be right to have children b. ca. 1790's. Let me know what else you have; others on the list as well. Thanks, Peter Burrows, Annapolis, MD
