Lucas) probably in Jefferson Co., Al. They are listed in the 1830 census of Jefferson Co., and the 1840 and 1850 census of Yalobusha Co., Ms. Their daughter Nancy married Simeon (Simon) Prescott in Jefferson Co., Al and moved to Yalobusha with the Bayless family. Temperance possibly had a sister named Nancy (b about 1801 in Georgia )who married Isaac Barton. The Bartons were living near Lucas Bayless and Temperance in the 1850 census of Yalobusha Co. Does anyone know about Temperance and her parents? Thanks.
