Bethia Snow d/o Stephen Snow ( son of Nicholas Snow & Constance Hopkins) born Eastham 1 July 1672; married John Smith s/o Samuel and Mary Hopkins Smith .He was born 26 May 1673 at Eastham and was a second cousin to Bethia. The children I have for them are : James 13 Frb 1694/5 died 27 May 1696; Samuel 25 May 1696; Dean ca.1698; Mercy bet 1698 and 1702; Mary 1702; John ca1703 This John Smith married 1st Elizabeth Brown and married 2nd on 7 April 1763 a Lydia Smith Snow, widow of Ebenezer Snow; John and first wife Elizabeth had a son Reuben born 20 March 1747 whoemigrated t to Nova Scotia in the early 1760's ; Lydia may be the woman enumerated in the 1790 census of Washington, Maine; John's son Reuben is mentioned in his will dated 1766, proved 1767Strephen ca1706; Bethia ca 1708; David ca1711 still living in 1734; Seth ca 1713.....Bethia may have married 2nd on 16 Nov 1743 Joseph Lord but this may have been Bethis Howes Hawes Smith widow of another JOhn Smith who was son of John and Hannah Williams Smith, a first cousin of this John SMith who married Bethia Snow. The Sarah Snow who married Samuel Smith was born 13 Feb 1712 at Eastham, and was a daughter of Stephen Snow ( son of Joseph, who was son of Nicholas Snow and Constance Hopkins and his wife Mary possibly a daughter of John Higgins and Mary Yates...her parentage is not proven , but is generally noted as such; marital intentions 25 Sept 1736. Samuel Smith is called "junior" in the records .He is not identified otherwise. Their Son, Reuben born 9 March 1746/7 married a Phoebe Snow , but I have no other data on that couple; If you do, I would be happy to have it. I can give you Sarah's line from Nicholas and Constance Hopkins Snow who were her great grandparents. Joseph is in my direct line as well....... The Sarah born Plymouth ca 1632 was daughter of Nicholas Snow and Constance Hopkins , born at Plymouth, on 25 Feb. 1654/5 married William Walker; I can give you more on these families. The Sarah Snow born 20 March 1703/4 was a daughter of Nicholas Snow ( Mark, Nicholas Snow ) she was born at Harwich,Ma. still living 22 March 1758. She married Nathan Hammond born there 1 April 1699, son of Nathan Hammond and Alice Pope. She was remembered in the 1751 will of her father. They resided in Rochester.She had no other marriage.
