I am seeking ancesotors of a REBECKAH SNOW b. Oct. 1, 1793 possibly Providence, RI. Marr. May 30, 1815 at Broadalbin, NY to Thomas F. Palmer. She died LaSalle Co. IL 1854. We believe that she had a brother Samuel Snow, as she & Thomas are listed living next to him in 1820 Warsaw, Wyoming Co., NY census. Rebeckah named her children, all born NY 1816-1828, rather unusual names: Margaret McCoon Palmer, Lydia Hubbard Palmer, Chloe Allen Palmer, Joseph Snow Palmer. These were not names on her husband's side . . . so we think the names given to her children may relate to her parents or grandparents.
