    1. [SNOW-L] Snow, Caleb
    2. Suspect the Cabel Snow posted to the Snow List on 5 April by Peter Pool <see posting repeated below> is as Follows: Caleb (6) Caleb Snow (5) Ebenezer (4) Benjamin (3) Rebecca (2 Brown, Peter Brown (1) Rebecca Brown m. William Snow of Bridgewater. Peter Brown is a Mayflower passenger. Documented details of this family for Caleb Snow (5) back to Peter Brown, Mayflower Passenger can be found in Mayflower Families For Five Generations Vol. VII <Peter Brown> Published by the General Society of Mayflower Descendants 1992, 4 Winslow Street. Plymouth, MA 02360. Data on Caleb (6) and Caleb (5) is found on pages 186-187. Can anyone definitely connect the Great Valley Cabel Snow with the Cabel Snow (6) above??? Have Revolutionary War Service information on Cabel (6) and Cabel (5) if anyone interested e-mail me and I'll send you a gedcom on what I have. Also does anyone have a Cabel (6) Snow copy of his Revolutionary War Pension file S42021. According to MF5G Vol. VII his age at the time of filing for his pension was 52 in 1818. Yet, Genealogical Abstracts of Revolutionary War Pension Files, By Virgil D. White, Published by The National Historical Publishing Co., Waynesboror, Tenn. Vol. I published 1990, Vol. II published 1991, Vol,m III published 1992. Vol. IV is the Index and Corrections. Vol. III page 3242 lists his age as 62 in 1818? Is this a typo error in "Abstracts" Only way we can tell is to have a copy of the Original Application?? If its correct then this Caleb (6) doen't belong in Caleb (5) family as Caleb (5) was not married until 1760 and an age of 62 in 1818 would place his age as being born abt. 1756, While an age of 52 as presented in MF5G would fit with a son of Caleb (5).??????????????????
