Hi, Snows, I am hoping to find out more information on the children of Miller Watson SNOW [b. 1832, Surry Co., NC; d. unk.; m. Eliza Ann CORDELL [CAUDILL?] The children that I have located were: (1) Sereptia/Cerepta [S.M.?] SNOW, b. 1848? 1852? She was recorded as 18 years of age in 1870, after which she apparently married, but it is unknown who her husband was. 06-0005 Margaret SNOW b. 1860/61. She apparently was married by 1880, but it is unknown who her husband was. 06-0006 Christopher Columbus SNOW b. 1865/66; m., 1886, Roxie Jane CREED. Children are unknown. 06-0007 Thomas Gideon SNOW b. 1867/68; m., 1888, Nancy Jane CARPENTER. One known child: Electra Lucretia SNOW m. Walter C. SMITH. Looking for other children. 06-0008 Sarah Plutina (Plutonia) SNOW b. 7 May 1869, Surry Co., NC; d. 22 Dec 1913, Surry Co., NC; buried Union Hill Church Cem., Surry Co.; m., at the home of her father, 26 June 1896, Tyre Henderson HARRIS, b. 26 Sept 1867, Laurel Branch, Alleghany? Co., NC; d. 16 May 1959, Thurmond, Surry Co., NC; son of John Calvin HARRIS & Frances "Nancy" SIMMONS. I have the HARRIS side of these lines [back to Tyre's great-grandfather, William HARRIS of Orange/Culpeper Co., VA, and Surry, Wilkes Ashe, Alleghany [and again, Wilkes] Cos., NC. Would like to locate HARRISes belonging to these lines also.] 06-0009 Nancy SNOW b. 1871/72; NFI. 06-0010 Shadrack O. SNOW b. 1872/73. Shadrack registered to vote in Surry Co., NC, on 17 Oct 1902, and stated his father was M.W. Snow. A photograph in my possession appears most probably to have been of Shadrack, identified as with his wife, Frances CALLAWAY [CALLOWAY], and their children. Of the children, two were clearly sons, one clearly a daughter, and a baby that may have been either male or female. Who were the children of Shadrack and Fannie? 06-0011 Vica B. "Vicey" SNOW b. 1876/77; m. Shade -----. Two photographs of Vica are in my possession. The first photograph shows Vicey with her family, and includes two little girls about ages three and four, both with long blonde hair. The second photograph shows Vicey and her husband, about 1915 or so. Shade always had mustache, if these two photographs are accurate indicators. Who was he? Who were their children? Thanks to all, and I hope to hear from some of you! Pam pamstone@digital.net
