    1. [SNOW-L] Charles SNOW - VA, IL, KY, IL
    2. RICHARD DILORENZO
    3. Hi, everyone....I am at a total dead end. Charles SNOW, b. VA (don't know where, don't know when), married first to Rhoda WHITTINGTON, who died. Charles went to KY where he re-married Martha WALKER of Allen Co. KY (probably 1857 or 58). My g-grandfather, also Charles, was born in Louisville, KY in 1858. Family moved back to Shelby County, IL and three more children were born, Thomas, Sarah and Joseph. Charles (the elder) died in October 1871 in Shelby Co., IL, Martha died in August of 1872. If anyone has a handle on these folks, I really appreciate a word. Good Hunting to All, Sandy

    1. [SNOW-L] SNOW, Rebeckah (Palmer) 1793-1854 RI>NY>OH>IL
    2. Ever see anything in your Snow notes with a posible: REBECKAH SNOW b. Oct 1 1793 vic of Providence RI? Probably had a brother Samuel. Rebeckah marr. 1815 Montgomery Co., NY to Thomas F. Palmer and their three daughters b. 1816-1825 were named: Margaret McCoon Palmer (d.y.), Lydia Hubbard Palmer (marr. Orrin Gridley lived Clear Lake, IA), Chloe Allen Palmer (marr Noah Post, lived in KS). So we think one of those could have been her mother's maiden name. She named first son Joseph Snow . . . so her father could have been Joseph or maybe Samuel. Rebeckah's parents, names presently unknown, were likely born 1760's, just a guess. Sure could use some help. Thanks. V. H. Peter Burrows, Annapolis, MD

    2. Winnie Brooks
    3. Hello Snow folks, First of all, a great big THANK YOU to Debi for adopting this list! Secondly, I'm very interested in learning more about my Snow ancestors: Moses Moran Snow, b abt 1830 MO, d 1864 Blanco Co, TX m. 1855 Hopkins Co, TX to Aley Pruitt ch. Jessie (Lackey, Taylor); Sarah (Walker); Mary Jane (Posey); and Moses (fe)(Walker) - all born in Blanco Co, TX I would like to connect Moses to the Jesse(b SC) and Sarah (b NC) Snow family found in the 1850 Murray Co, GA census. If this is true, then his sisters were Frances (Swiney), Sarah, and Nancy - all b GA. Other families nearby were Levi Snow and Henley Snow and their families - all b GA. Could these be brothers? These same three Snow families were in Murray Co in 1840 as well. However, during this census, there were 13 others living in Jesse's household besides he and his wife!! Does anybody recognize any names here? If so, I will be glad to exchange information. Otherwise, any input will be greatly appreciated. Thanks very much, Winnie Brooks wab@worldnet.att.net http://home.att.net/~jram
