Kathy, This may be a stretch...and then again maybe not. I have found that sometimes when my family migrates, they rename the new location the same as the old location. This said, I have Snow clan in Gallatin Co, KY. Some went to Indiania...so Illinois is not a stretch. Some of my Snow allies including the Harrisons were from New York. (Suspect Jordan, Murrell, Bush of NY connection as well) Some of the KY Snow allied famalies went to Illinois to "spread the gospel." These could include Lillard, McPherson, Waters, and Noel...maybe a Castleman or two for good measure. (All Gallatin County, KY famalies) Don't want to muddy the waters...but hope to find connections. Establishing that connection may now be possible through molecular genealogy.
