Hi Tribe...just wanted to say thanks to all of you who have sent me emails abt my research, I do appreciate it and this seems best way to say it all at once, [hope Karen does not mind].....I do enjoy it, even researching other lines, never know what one might pick up to add to our own lines.....being retired I do have the time. Now another little offbeat item.....again, this seems best way to ask for some prayers for those in our Tribe going thru some hard times. The Prudhomme clan address is my sons so now and then I got to read some Smothers mail..I had Chemo and radiation for 6 months operated on in Oct. Came down to Fla. Dec. warmer here than in Wis. Will have another operation an a few weeks than more Chemo (goody goody)Just when I am starting to feel better. Well I made my 48 wedding Anv. today anyway. Enough of that took my comp. with me down here just got on line. Maybe I can catch up on some stuff ?? I see you are looking for some Smothers males for Dna testing. If its not to late you can count me in. I am not hooked up on the Smothers site yet .Will try and remember how to do it ? Go in Monday to start my chemo and radiation therapy. Chemo two stretches of five days a week, 24 hours a day. They put a pump on me in a fanny pack and a needle in my arm and I get the chemo all day and night for five days. Reduces the side effects from a big dose during a two-hour period. Will have the chemo during the first week and the fifth week of radiation treatment. Radiation will be Mon-Fri for 28 consecutive days. Will get a 4-5 wk break after chemo and radiation before doing the surgery to remove the tumor and 4" my esophagus and 1/3 of my stomach. Hopefully all cancer will be dead and will not reoccur.
