Wow.....Nena......that is VERY frustrating!!! I was talking to another DAR member the other day. She wants to file paperwork for yet another Rev. war ancestor. Someone several years ago filed paperwork on this same ancestor, with the WRONG info on the descendants. She is having a terrible time "righting the wrong" and my friend is the one who has many of the original documents needed for proof! She is the lucky soul whose grandmother was interested in family and kept every scrap of paperwork that had anything to do with family. I'm glad I'm not in that situation! Another note: I have heard that sometimes, the older DAR appl. were not scrutinized as closely as now, and that there are some errors in them. So nowdays, you really have to document your lines thouroughly. Good luck!!!! Karen
