I cannot understand). Nancy really does show as age 45 in both 1910 & 1920 census. Note that the 1910 Census indicates that Elisha and Nancy are both in their 2nd marriage. Nancy NEAL's 1st husband thought to have been a Mr. DONALDSON, so 1900 census should read (step-dau) Effie DONALDSON, not DAULSON. 2) Son Mack Claude SMOTHERS married Bertie V. TIPPETT 4 March 1907 in AR 3) Daughter Laura SMOTHERS married James Mathew TIPPET sometime 1900-1910 4) Daughter Josephine SMOTHERS, b 3 Jul 1903, married Bryant MERRIMAN 28 Apr 1923 in AR, d 28 May 1985, and is listed under Josephine MERRIMAN in Soc Sec Death Index. 5) Daughter Malinda Parzee SMOTHERS, b 28 Feb 1908, married Willis MERRIMAN 2 Sep 1924 in AR, d 15 Oct 1963. 6) Mary and Josephine are listed by some researchers as the same person, i.e, as Mary Josephine SMOTHERS -- above records show they are different individuals. 7) EMC SMOTHERS died 12 Aug 1926 in (probably) Marion Co., AR, and is buried in Patton Cemetery, Marion Co., AR.
