I don't think that's the "Green" Martha married. My 91 year old mother just knows "he was called 'Green'". I don't have any other information, other than he was murdered in a shooting. That's the only clues I have. I found a William C. "Green" Smothers who was from Franklin County, Illinois, but I'm just now sure. Sorry. Do you think that he could be the Green B. Smothers that is buried in the Lexington Cemetery that died on April 3, 1864? > > Or do you have some clues that you could send my way? > > Appreciate it, > > Bernie > > > > ============================== > The only real-time collaboration tool that allows you and other family > members to create a FREE, password-protected family tree. > http://www.ancestry.com/oft/login.asp >
