The only thing I know is that my Maternal Grand Father's name is John "Jasper" Smothers, Jr. He was born in Mercer County, most likely in Bluefield, West Virginia. He Married Evelyn Louise Williams, also of Blueield, WV, in 1950 (approx.). They had five children, three of whom were also born in Bluefield, Earnest, John, and, my Mother Inge . John Jr. and Evelyn relocated to Covington, Ky, where they lived until their deaths, in 1990, and 1998, respectively. Any and all information you have regarding John Smothers, Jr, or Evelyn Louise Williams Smothers will be greatly appreciated.
