Thanks for all the Berry/Smeathers info. I do posess the Berry book. I bought it before I found that we were not related (as far as we know) to Betsy or Bill. I thought there might be a Berry connection because my ggrandfather was names Berry Payne Smothers. I have yet to find why the Berry or why the Payne!!! Anyway, that's how I got on the Berry newsletter list. I'll look thru it sometime this weekend and try to post. I'm not promising because I have to get info together for tax appt on Monday!
