I have written to a cousin to see if she has some solid proof of this. but it seems that there are some pics or something I've seen in the family that refer to an Aunt Belle. Story about the Potosi Cemetery. The original 2 acre parcel of land for the Potosi Cemetery was originally owned by R. A. Pollard, father-in-law of Claude Smothers. R. A. Pollard was one of the early settlers of Potosi area. There is a very interesting little book called, "POTOSI, The First One Hundred Years." It tells all about the beginnings of Potosi and the surrounding area. A good read for anyone searching the founding families in this area.>Karen Theofanides > > > > >============================== >To join Ancestry.com and access our 1.2 billion online genealogy records, >go to: >http://www.ancestry.com/rd/redir.asp?targetid=571&sourceid=1237 > _________________________________________________________________ MSN 8 helps eliminate e-mail viruses.
