Story about the Potosi Cemetery. The original 2 acre parcel of land for the Potosi Cemetery was originally owned by R. A. Pollard, father-in-law of Claude Smothers. R. A. Pollard was one of the early settlers of Potosi area. There is a very interesting little book called, "POTOSI, The First One Hundred Years." It tells all about the beginnings of Potosi and the surrounding area. A good read for anyone searching the founding families in this area. Karen Theofanides
