    1. [SMOTHERS] Augusta Co Records
    2. Nena Smothers
    3. Fr another list..... You can order microfilms of Augusta co land records from the Library of VA through interlibrary loan from your local library. If you want to look over a large span of time, it would be prudent to first order the grantee and grantor indexes for surnames starting with "S"; that will give you all the transactions involving Sellerses - then you can order the appropriate deed books that contain the actual transactions. See here for the list of reel numbers to order: http://www.lva.lib.va.us/whatwehave/local/local_rec/county_city/augusta.htm When you fill out your ILL form, put "obtain from Library of Virginia, Richmond, VA" on it so your library won't waste time looking elsewhere for these records. Include the reel number, county name, and reel title. Films can take a month to arrive; maybe longer now, due to the budget cuts.
