George Smothers I assume is George William Smothers born bet 1760-1770, wife Lois Adams, I have George died abt. 1852. Henry Smothers born 1812, son of George William Smothers and Lois Adams, spouse Elizabeth Birdsell. Julia Smothers ?, I have a Julia E. Smothers, daughter of Nathan Beach Smothers, and Mariah Jane Slack, however she was born abt 1847, I think the Julia in the census must be older than this Julia. William Smothers, is this William B. Smothers, born 1826, son of George William Smothers and Lois Adams? There is a John Smothers, age 38, (born abt 1812), wife Catherine, age 35, Catherine age 18, John age 15, Henry age 13, Alexander age 11, Jane age 5/12. This family is also in Franklin County, but in Montgomery Township, both in 1850 and 1851. There are several more people in this same household; Josah Grimes age 28, Mary Ann Grimes, age 26, Rebecca Jane Grimes age 9, Harriet M. Evans age 15, Jane Evans age 13, and Martha Evans age 7.
