I did not think the maiden name for John Smithers' wife, Rachel (Betterton?), was known? John was Richard Smithers' son. I have done some research on John and never before saw any evidence as to Rachel's maiden name. Seems an odd coincidence that you name James the engraver's wife as Rachel Betterton also?
