William Harrison Smothers who was married to Martha Mary Townsend Stoker was the illegitimate son on Nancy Smothers and John Pinkston of Sumner County, TN. William's brother is James Franklin. Karen, William H. Smothers is the son of Elisha & Rachael Elizabeth Stratton Smothers. He was born in AR. 1870, died in AR 1947 and is buried (according to the book "Of Grave Importance" published by the Baxter Co., Historical Society) in Fairview Cemetery in Baxter Co., AR.
