    3. At the risk of being annoying, I’m testing out this link via using bitly, a link shortener. Since rootsweb is truncating the link, I believe this probably should work instead. If after sending, I see that there's no issue with using bitly, in future all links going to longer links on FamilyTreeDNA or families on Smithsworldwide.org on rootsweb will use bitly as a shortener Test this https://bit.ly/2JAKAkA -----Original Message----- From: Marshall Smith [mailto:mlsgsw@rit.edu] Sent: Thursday, June 07, 2018 11:24 AM To: Discussing and sharing of information regarding the ongoing Smith DNA project. 1. [SMITH-DNA] List of Smith/Schmidt YDNA Groups for the Smith DNA Project
    2. Deb Harper
    3. Here is the classic YDNA chart on FamilyTreeDNA-to see all results on one page, change the PAGE SIZE towards the top to a large number, like 4000. Then use your browser to FIND who you are looking for. https://www.familytreedna.com/public/smiths/?vgroup=smiths <https://www.familytreedna.com/public/smiths/?vgroup=smiths&vgroup=smiths&if rame=ydnacolor> &vgroup=smiths&iframe=ydnacolor This is the list of expanded custom groups that can also include, besides YDNA as the baseline, autosomal results and/or tree only. All groups are created primarily on the basis of matches on YDNA, with at least 2 YDNA testers that match within a range. Any Smith/Schmidt male that has done autosomal but not YDNA is encouraged to do YDNA. http://www.smithsworldwide.org/smgrouplist.asp and this is a list, on the one big tree side on Smithsworldwide.org of contributing *branches* by early ancestor http://www.smithsworldwide.org/smembers.asp

    3. in Egg Harbor, Atlantic County, NJ. Smith DNA Project would like to find anyone who has done DNA for this line to both prove it and root out errors. In particular, if you're a male Smith that is a descendant that has done YDNA (or might consider doing a YDNA test) , or secondarily, have done autosomal testing, please come participate. Also, If you see any errors or additions, have at it. To find the line on the Smithsworldwide.org site, go to the SEARCH window and put in ID I33090 (that's I for Individual) which will take you to the top person for this line.

See the PersonID in the link, which is I64863 (that's an I for Individual) -you can go to the SEARCH window on Smiths worldwide and put in that ID which will take you to the page. -----Original Message----- From: Marshall Smith [mailto:mlsgsw@rit.edu] Sent: Thursday, June 07, 2018 11:24 AM To: Discussing and sharing of information regarding the ongoing Smith DNA project.
