Their children were Eleanor Marie, b. 7 Nov 1923, d. 15 Sep 2004; James Moore, b. 14 Aug 1925; Doris Shirley, b. 10 Mar 1927; Dorothy Grace, b. 24 Jan 1930, d. 25 Feb 1954; and Carl Fern, b. 14 May 1935. It's too bad Eleanor is not alive; she and I puzzled over the Smith connection with Tillie Aurand. Now she'd have her answer. Eleanor began keeping genealogical records of the Aurand family when she in high school. Her files are now with the Mifflin County Historical Society, I believe.
