My grandfather James Porter Smith's brother was killed in Denton County Texas. His name was Virgil David Smith,he and his wife had eight children .I believe some of the family moved to Gainsville. Also found one daughter in Sherman Texas Mary Ann Wright.Would love to correspond with anyone that knows about this family.Names of the other children I have found are Ruth White Gainsville and Bernice Phelps Gainsville.
