The website will send you a kit for a sample of your DNA. You rub the inside of your cheek and then the next day you do the other cheek. Mail it in they will do the rest. The more Smiths that do it the more we will learn of our past generations. I again suggest thay you do the 37 marker test. The more markers the closer you will get to the present day Smiths. I did the 12 marker first and found relatives all over. But our connections went back a few hundred years.
