Nope haven't found her so far in 1910. Her kids: Annie Smith b. Sept. 1865 d. ? married Thomas M. Whiteside Richard Smith b. 7-4-1873 possibly in Knox Co., Tn d. 2-18-1929 in Sweetwater, Monroe Co. TN.. md. 1st Ada Brock in 1893 Monroe Co., md. 2nd to Maude Bazell in 1900 Monroe Co., Tn Elizabeth Smith b. March 1875 d. ? md. Robert Moore abt. 7-12-1894 in Monroe Co., Tn.. ended up divorcing William Smith b. Feb. 1876 md. abt. 1896 to Alice Unknown last name. Bettie Smith b. 1866-1872 ( the 1900 census is really hard to read ) so I am guessing ... I found a record sometime back for a Belle Smith Burns b. 1883 in Knox Co., Tn d. 1920 in Monroe Co., Tn that had her parents listed as Richard Smith and Jane Bearden... I couldn't find any proof that this is my Jane Smith.. if it is.. then James Smith went by his middle name.. cause we all know him as just James.... so maybe his full name.. Can you give me a little help on this. I cannot locate Jane in the 1900 Monroe Co. TN census. I cannot locate any family in Tennesse in 1880 with these children listed. I have located Annie and traced her through 1930, will check Thursday for her obit, but I haven't found this family together in 1880, and they should be.
