He was born in Tyler, Texas on June 12, 1903, and had lived in Houston for the last 85 years. Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his son Daniel Burns Smith and is survived by his wife Florence Wooster Smith. Memorial services will be conducted at 3pm Saturday, February 9th in the Settegast-Kopf Chapel with the Rev. Douglas Ensminger of the Central Presbyterian Church officiating.
