She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Ronald and grandson Jeffrey. She is survived by her children Terry Shelander, Debbie McLeland, Katie Fox-Zoeller, and Pam Shelander, and her step-children Stewart Smith, Leslie Salley, and Christopher Smith. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren. In addition, she made many friends and will be greatly missed. Memorials may be made in her name to either the Dumb Friends League or to the Hospice Care Center of Boulder and Broomfield Counties. Service will be held at Ft. Logan, Area B, at 11:00am, Friday, April 7, followed by a celebration of her life at Vern & Debbie McLeland's house, 5735 Poppy Way, Golden. All Veterans Burial & Cremation; (303) 234-0911.
