Funeral services for Shellie Smith, 60, of 523 Jenkins Dr. will be held at 11 am tomorrow at Oakhurst Baptist Church. The Rev. Frank R. Moore, the pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Sharon Memorial Park. Mr. Smith died yesterday in a local hospital. Born Jan. 4, 1903, in Montgomery county, he was the son of the late W.C. Smith and Jennie Morris Smith. He had been employed with the City Chevrolet Co. for 15 years as a master mechanic. He was a member of the executive board of City Chevrolet Credit Union. Mr. Smith had been a member of Woodmen of the World at Mint Hill for 22 years and was a member of Oakhurst Baptist church where he had been a deacon for the past 20 years. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Madge Tucker Smith, and a sister, Mrs. J.D. Hinson of Albemarle. Deacons of the church will be active and honorary pallbearers.
