I am looking for some of my Smith family that was from PA. about that same time period. Theodore William Smith was my g-grandfather. Said to be born in Chambersburg, Franklin, PA. I dont know his birth date, but his oldest son was born in 1861. Figuring 20 - 25 years earlier, he would have been born about 1836-41.
