They moved to Illinois as that was where my GGrandmother was born in 1861. I have seen so many different spellings of Vannosdall but that was how it was spelled in the 1870 Illinois census. I was hoping I could get some info re: Sherman Smith because his wife's name is so different. Many thanks, Kris
