They had at least 6 children . They are on the 1840 census. By 1850 he is alone .He remarried in 1844/5 but she was also gone. It appears they may have divorced. After 1850 Pumphrey is gone .He did not die so may have moved. His father is Owen Smith of VA and brother is Obediah. Any help please.Reply to (mountainmama57@webtv.net) Pat
