Hello All, I want first to let all those searching in the New Haven County area to know that they now have Mailing lists at Roots-L for Branford and Guilford . I also would like to ask everyone if they would please put any tidbits of Smith information that they find in the CT area on the Smith-L and D list . One person found a tombstone inscription and put that on the list and if everyone did that kind of thing , I would have a chance of finding out about the 4 Smith line's in my family . I have so little info on them , I don't know anything on a couple of them . Just the name of the woman they married . They are all from CT . Bert Smith , I don't know what the long version of his name would be . He married a Sally of Branford , 1940's or 50's . Wesley [Red] Smith , married Geneva of Branford same dates , [Skip] Smith , married , Gertrude , Raymond Smith of Mystic , married Doris all in the 40's and 50's . I do have a little more info .
