Matilda "Tillie" Aurand was listed in the 1920 census for Lewistown, PA as a widow (husband Harry died in 1910) living at 75 N. Pine St. Next door, at 95 N. Pine St. is a Grant O. (or D.) Smith with a 6-year-old son named William. In the 1922 city directory, Tillie is listed as Mrs. Charles Smith -- also a widow. In the 1930 census, she is listed as Tillie Aurand, living next door to Todd Smith Jr. (but clearly in separate households). Her obituary says only that she was married to Charles Smith. Does any of this match what you have? Thanks in advance, Richard Aurand Sherer

Several children were born but only Mary Ann Smith b 28 Oct 1815 is listed. My line comes thru this Benjamin's brother, Eli C. and Elizabeth Rouanzoin Smith. Their son, George Washington Smith was born Jan 2, 1817 in Fayette Co. PA. Hope some of this helps. If you can find this publication it would be a great help.
