Smith or family members, Bobby was 22 yrs. old in 1949 and he lived at 2025 Van Ness St. in National City, Ca.--he was a friend of Birch "Sandy" Austin who was living at 2750 Chaffee Street, Lincoln Acres, Ca. and I believe "Sandy" was living with the Levitt family at the Levitt family at the time and he was killed in a car accident. I would like to find out something about him, he was my father. The son of the Levitt family was also a good friend of "Sandy's" and I would like to locate him also. I think I have my Smith's tracked back to John Smith born approximately 1622 in Sudbury England and married to Sarah Hunt in 1647 in Sudbury, Middlesex, MA. John and Sarah had three son's, Thomas Smith born July 1658 in Sudbury MA, John Smith born Jan 1647/48 in Sudbury Middlesex, MA, and Robert Smith born May 1654 in Sudbury, Middlesex, MA.

Borden McCoy "Bird" SMITH lived in Sebastian Co,. AR before and during the Civil War - several of his children went to OK and MO. He was born in Knox Co., TN and was killed in Sebastian Co. by a bushwhacker while home on leave from Confederate Service, Bird did have a son named Thomas b in 1840.
