Surnames: smith Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/VJIBAEB/28079 Message Board Post: Hi my name is Melissa and I am looking for a young lady by the name of Tina Leeanne Smith. I know she would have been born in Charleston SC on 9/20/76 so this would put her at about 29 years of age. Her mothers name is Dorene Smith her last name could possibly be different as well as Tina's may be different at this time. I was searching this web site a few days ago and found a message she posted in Oct 2000 looking for her father who is my brother. The email address is no longer valid for her from that time frame and I am having a hard time locating her. If any one has information on Tina or her mother Dorene it would be greatly appriciated as Tina has a large family out here that is desperatly looking for her and would love to meet her. PLEASE respond to my email address with any info or you can call me at 843-330-0096. Thanks for all who take the time to read this.

Surnames: smith, tucker Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/VJIBAEB/28072 Message Board Post: I am seeking information on the likely American origins of the Digby, Nova Scotia Smiths. William Smith (b abt 1776) who married Hannah Tucker (b abt 1776) appears to be the earliest known ancestor of this family, but presumably his family (as in his parents) came to Digby or thereabouts in the 1780s from New England or the Mid-Atlantic (the Tuckers had come from Massachusetts). One of William and Hannah's children was Nany Smith (b abt 1822) who married Joseph Titus.
