    2. Lee Anne Center
    3. Ken, I do not know if this will be helpful or not. There is a Magdalene Smith mentioned in the administration for Peter Waggoner in Adams Co. PA. I have Smiths in Westmoreland Co. PA. The will for John Smith d. 1849 Loyalhanna, Westmoreland Co., PA bequeathed to his wife Catharine the money left her by her deceased father and that was being held for her by Peter Waggoner of Adams Co. PA. There are other Smiths mentioned, but I don't recall the name Peter J. Smith. There were Mrs. Smith, Dr. J. N. Smith, and Magdalena Smith. I don't recall off the top of my head any others. I'll try to find the administration papers if this sounds interesting to you. An indirect Stitt line went from PA to NY. My Benjamin Smith (b. 1818) married Jane Stitt (b. 1832), daughter of James Harvey Smith, son of William Jr., son of William Sr. A William Stitt witnessed the will of a Hains in NY. I have not pursued researching this William to see if he is mine or not. Lee Anne

I'm related to the William Daly who married Elizabeth "Lizzie" Smyth. Would like to share information, as I'm hoping that while he traced his SMYTH to Ohio, perhaps he traced the Daly line in Ireland. I'm trying to find the Irish county from where my Ggrf immigrated. If you know Des Smyth, or know of him, please pass this info along. Thank you.

    3. I don't know if this is helpful while you work backward, but there was a Peter Smith family in Worcester County, Massachusetts in the early to mid-1700s. I think his wife was named Marcy Wright. -----Original Message----- From: gc-gateway@rootsweb.com [mailto:gc-gateway@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of kencool@sbcglobal.net Sent: April 16, 2006 7:00 PM To: SMITH-L@rootsweb.com Subject: [SMITH] Peter J.
