Pam said she had contacted him but will wait awhile to contact him again. My brother-in-law, Charlie, lives in Cape Town. His grandfather - Charles Edward Smith - who went from Australia to South Africa, lived in Durban, Natal, where Charlie was born. He married my sister in Durban although they moved to Cape Town some 25 or more years ago now. How interesting about a Zipporah Smith living in London. Pity she didn't reply, it would have been interesting to see whether she was related. I will keep in touch with any information I come up with. Thanks for your interest.
