But I would recommend searching Nevada divorce records. In most states at the time of this divorce, there was quite a long waiting time or there was a great deal of burden to proove cause for divorce. In Nevada, there was not much of a burden and if I remember right you only had to be a resident of Nevada for 6 weeks (or mayabe it was less--I'm going on an old memory). Nevada became quite well known and the butt of many jokes as being the quickie divorce state. Reno actually advertised hotel rates for divorces.
