He married on 6/28/1802 Mary Brackett, d/o Benning Brackett, she b. 4/19/1782 prob. Newmarket, d. 3/23/1853 Newmarket. Their children were: Charles Smart b. 12/12 1802 Newmarket, N.H. Elizabeth Smart b. 3/15/1804 Clarissa Smart b. 10/8/1805 Newmarket married on 8/31/1828 Arthur Bennett of Lee, N.H. Martha Smart b. 1/28/1808 Caleb Smart b. 9/8/1810 of Newfields N.H.
