Author: salleyct Surnames: Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/surnames.smart/1650.1/mb.ashx Message Board Post: I have a published history of the SMART family, written by a grandson of Joshua SMART and Hannah Nickerson. called: "Smart Genealogy More particularly of Winthrop Smart and his descendants" by Samuel M Smart published Portland Maine 1900 reprinted Tilton New Hampshire 1949 It does not list a Jacob SMART as one of their children.The author was a son of Richard Smart. This history is 28 pages. I don't find a Jacob listed as a child in any of the generations from Winthrop on down. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
